I have had Nathan provide me a quote for some new fans. We were looking for a larger outdoor 120. Inch fan he happily took the time to find exactly what we wanted and provided a very detailed quote. Absolutely! We install and replace ceiling fans, power points, switches, lighting and a wide range of residential and commercial electrical fixtures.
Can you supply and install equipment, or install customer-supplied products?
We recommend supplying and installing our own equipment to ensure quality, compatibility and full warranty support. We may install customer-supplied products on a case-by-case basis, subject to suitability, compliance and warranty conditions. Product warranties remain the responsibility of the supplier or manufacturer.

How much does ceiling fan installation cost?
The fan, location, mounting requirements, ceiling access and existing wiring all affect the price. Replacing a fan in its current position can involve different work from adding one where there is only a light. Tell us how many fans you need and the details for each room so NDR can prepare a relevant quote.
Can a ceiling fan replace an existing light?
It may be possible, subject to suitable support, wiring, controls and clearances for the selected fan. Include a photo of the existing light and the proposed fan model in your enquiry. The current light position is a starting point for assessment, rather than confirmation that a fan will fit there.
Should I choose a fan with a light?
Consider the lighting already in the room and how you use the space. A combined fitting may be convenient, but light output and control options vary by model. If you want separate downlights or bedside lighting as well, include those plans so the fan and lighting positions can be considered together.
Can you replace several fans in one visit?
List all the rooms in your enquiry so NDR can quote the work together and discuss scheduling. Include whether each fan is a replacement or a new position. Access, product availability and the amount of electrical work determine how the job is arranged; a single visit is not assumed.
Do I need an electrician to install a ceiling fan?
Yes. In Queensland, installing or replacing a hard-wired ceiling fan is electrical work for a licensed electrician. You can choose a style and describe the room, then have the fan's mounting, connection and controls assessed as part of the installation.
